Wondrous Item, uncommon

This amulet appears as a plain, nondescript pendant hanging from a simple cord. While it emits a faint magical aura, its true power lies in its ability to create trivial and insignificant effects.

  • Distracting Sparkles: Once per day, you can command the amulet to emit a burst of sparkles in a 5-foot radius around you. The sparkles are colorful and shimmering but have no practical use whatsoever, except perhaps to momentarily distract a nearby creature.

  • Whispering Breeze: By holding the amulet up to your ear, you can activate this ability once per long rest. It produces a gentle breeze that carries faint whispers. However, the whispers are incomprehensible and provide no useful information or secrets.

  • Party Favor Popper: Once per short rest, you can pull a small string attached to the amulet, causing it to emit a loud popping sound like a party favor. It startles nearby creatures but has no effect beyond a momentary surprise.

  • Disappearing Trick: As an action, you can utter a command word to activate this ability. The amulet disappears from sight for 1d4 rounds and reappears in your hand. However, this is purely a visual effect, and the amulet remains completely tangible and can be seen by all other creatures.

  • Self-Untying Knot: The cord holding the amulet is enchanted to periodically untie itself for no reason. It happens at random intervals, providing no practical advantage or disadvantage.
