Chitinous insect-like armor that protrudes in large sweeping hooks at the joints and the shoulders. The armor includes a form-fitting helmets of black leather that has onyx studs wrapped around the head. The brow plate of these helmets have backwards facing horns. This armor protects the drow from the sun, eliminating the disadvantage on attack rolls within 10ft. This does not mitigate sunlight sensitivity's effect on ranged attacks or Perception checks.
