Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement)

This longsword, crafted by invokers of the Plane of Ash, is sheathed in a brass-adorned scabbard. On the pommel of the sword is a grey quartz stone, and the handle is wrapped in scorched leather.

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic sword. Whenever you hit a creature with an attack using it, the attack deals an additional 1d6 fire damage.

While unsheathed, the sword’s blade emits magical smoke that causes you and any creature or object entirely in your space to be lightly obscured. After being emitted, smoke dissipates after 6 seconds. While strong wind causes this obscurement to be lost, the blade of the sword always generates enough smoke to be completely covered.

The sword has 3 charges. When you hit a creature with an attack using the sword, you can expend a charge to force the target to make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes an additional 2d6 poison damage and is blinded until the start of your next turn. On a successful save, the target takes half damage and isn’t blinded.

Whenever the sword runs out of charges, roll a d20. On a 1, the sword crumbles to ash and is destroyed. It regains all expended charges at dawn each day.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
