This large, two-handed scythe serves those willing to both seek out arcane knowledge, as well as safeguard it's secrets, growing more powerful as its wielder does.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
The scythe deals 1d10 slashing damage, and 1d6 force damage. The additional force damage increases to a d8 at level 11, and a d10 at level 17.
The scythe has a special arcane contingency function to protect its wielder in times of danger. The attuned wielder of this weapon can cast the Shield spell, giving themselves a +5 bonus to AC until the start of their next turn, including against the triggering attack, and taking no damage from Magic Missile. This reaction can be used a number of times equal to the attuned wielder's proficiency bonus, regaining all spent uses after finishing a long rest.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
