Weapon (longsword), artifact

One of your arms is replaced with the Arm of the Devourer. The Arm of the Devourer cannot hold items, and can never be severed; if it is damaged it simply regrows.

The Arm of the Devourer can be used to make a melee attack that deals 1d8 Force Damage. This damage is considered Magical for the purposes of overcoming Resistances.

Once per day, you may awaken the Arm of the Devourer for 1 Minute. In this state, the damage dice of the Arm increases by 1d8, and you gain access to the "Reave" Ability.

Reave: All Creatures within a 10ft Cone extending from you make a Dexterity Saving Throw (DC 8 + Dex Mod + Proficiency Bonus); taking 3d8 Force Damage on a failed save, or half that amount on a successful save. After Reave has resolved, the Arm of the Devourer returns to its unawakened state.

After the Arm of the Devourer returns to its normal state, you gain 2d10 Exhaustion.

Evolve. The Powers granted by the Arm of the Devourer can grow if certain conditions are met. What those conditions might be is down to the DM.

Curse: The Arm of the Devourer is bonded to you at a molecular level, and cannot be removed. Any attempt to remove it is instantly undone.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Replace Damage Type: Force, Damage: Force, Proficiency: Longsword, Versatile, Sap
