These gauntlets were produced by an aspiring but untalented mage, who decided to take their magic theory knowledge and apply it to science and inventing instead. The gemstones on this gauntlet seem to shimmer and glow when filled with magic energy, and the diamond on the back appears to have some strange series of wires around it. This item can be used as an arcane focus.

When you are attuned to this gauntlet, you can cast Counterspell at 7th level up to 4 times per day. When doing so and succeeding on the counterspell itself, you take a one-use copy of the caster's spell and add it to your temporary spell list. You may then cast this spell as if you had known and prepared it beforehand, even if any restrictions bar you from doing so. You may attempt to keep these spells across a long rest with a Constitution saving throw of DC 8 + the highest leveled spell's level + 2x the amount of days that have passed.
