Created from the remnants of an overwhelming amount of mortal, divine and aberrant energies left from the destruction of a powerful fiend named "The Soul", the deity who slew it, and the formation of the new deity of Chaos Zoë, colliding in to 2 halves, one half embodying the chaos of this mix, called "Zoë's Wardrobe" while the other half, a book titled "All Deities Great and Small", embodies the devout connection it brings to all planes. This book bears an ever-changing symbol on the cover, changing from one deities symbol to the next in a never-ending loop.
Dormant
The book grants the following benefits in its dormant state:
- The book counts as a holy symbol for all your spells requiring a holy symbol and doubles as a spellbook for your known spells.
- While you hold the book, you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your spells.
- While you hold this book, you can use your Channel Divinity feature without expending one of the feature’s uses. Once this property is used, it can’t be used again until the next dawn.
- The book contains all information on any deity, including quasi- and demi-deities, that is already written down in any non-magical book on the material plane. The book contains infinite pages and automatically opens on the deity you are thinking off when opening it.
- The book allows a single prayer to be directed at all deities simultaneously.
Awakened
The book grants the following benefits in its awakened state:
- The book's bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your spells increases to +2.
- The book now also contains information on any deity not known on the material plane but which the deity themselves allows to be known to the attuned creature.
- You now have access to all cantrips from the Cleric, and Druid spell list at all times.
Exalted
The book grants the following benefits in its exalted state:
- The book's bonus to spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your spells increases to +3.
- Once per day you can open the book to any deity known to you and ask a question to that deity and it will reach the deity without fail prompting them to respond. The deity is not required to reply, tell the truth or have their response relate to the question. Should the deity chose to reply, the conversation can continue until the deity chooses to no longer reply.
- While holding the book, you can use an action to cast one of the following spells from it Divine Word, Find the Path, Greater Restoration. Once you use the book to cast a spell, you can’t cast that spell again from it until the next dawn..
Notes: Bonus: Spell Attacks, Bonus: Spell Save DC, devout worshiper of any deity

Posted Jul 10, 2023While I will accept any and all criticism (as long as it's constructive), I made this item for my own campaign and the player loves it so I doubt I'll change it.
With that said, i hope people do like it.
PS: Not native English speaker, so feel free to point out spelling errors or weird sentences that could be better written. PPS: Modifiers still confuse me so they may be straight up wrong.
