This amulet is composed of a pompom of animal fur encircled by a silver disk. The fur is of indeterminate origin and its colours seem to shift through the hues of the rainbow depending on the light.
When you use your Wild Shape while attuned to this amulet, you may choose to assume the form of a Dream Beast - a mystical animal touched by the dreamy magic of the Feywild. The Dream Beast has the same statistics as one of your usual animal forms, but with the following changes:
- Its creature type is fey as well as beast
- It gains bonus HP equal to your druid level
- It has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects
- It can cast the spells Misty Step and Faerie Fire once each without expending a spell slot and ignoring the usual limitations of Spellcasting while in Wild Shape.
While a Dream Beast largely resembles a normal animal, the touch of the fey is obvious. You may choose aesthetic changes, such as iridescent fur, branch-like antlers, or a trail of drifting mist when you assume a Dream Beast form. Once you have taken the form of a Dream Beast, you cannot do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
