Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a Paladin missing an arm)

This golden prosthetic appendage was developed by artificers of House Cannith, and blessed by the clerics of Onatar, enhancing its expert technology with sacred power. The prosthesis attaches to your arm at the shoulder, and it can’t be removed as long as you’re attuned to it. To attune to this item, you must hold it against your shoulder for the entire attunement period, at which point it magically attaches itself into place with a burst of radiance.

The arm is a fully capable part of your body. You can take an action to remove the arm, and it removes itself if your attunement to it ends. It can’t be removed against your will.

While attached, the arm grants you the following benefits:

  • Your Strength score increases by 2, to a maximum of 20.
  • Unarmed strikes made with the arm are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. Your unarmed strikes with the arm use a d8 damage die. A creature hit by an unarmed strike or a weapon you wield with the arm takes an additional 1d8 radiant damage.
  • The arm has 3 charges. As an action, you can touch another creature with it and expend 1 charge. The target magically regains 3d8 hit points and is freed from any curse, disease, poison, blindness, or deafness affecting it. The arm regains 1d3 charges each day at dawn.
  • If you are within 60 feet of a fiend or undead, the arm sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius, and dim light for an additional 30 feet, and you gain a +2 bonus to your AC. The bright light shed by this arm is sunlight.
