Weapon (crossbow, light), rare (requires attunement by a Must be played for 30 minutes to be attuned.)

This lute-based weapon packs a punch when readjusted at the bridge. The switch routes a crossbow bow to be fired from the headstock, which works as a light crossbow and a shortsword, depending on the chords played:

G Chord: A sharp crossbow bolt fires through the neck of the instrument. Each bolt fired deals 1d8 piercing damage. If a 1 is rolled, the weapon malfunctions and requires an action to be repaired. The instrument can hold 20 crossbow bolts.

E Minor Chord: A sharp blade protrudes from the base of the body quickly, then retracts immediately back in, causing 1d6 piercing damage. This can only be used as close range.

Proficiency with a Light Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
