Amulet of Elemental Mastery

This ornate amulet, adorned with elemental motifs, is a conduit to the raw power of the elements. When attuned to the amulet, the bearer gains the following benefits:

• Elemental Affinity: The bearer gains resistance to a specific damage type associated with an element of their choice: acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder. This choice can be changed during a long rest.
• Elemental Channelling: The bearer can cast the cantrips associated with their chosen damage type (acid splash, ray of frost, produce flame, shocking grasp, or thunderclap) using their spellcasting ability modifier. These cantrips are considered to be part of their known cantrips.
• Elemental Veil: Once per short rest, the bearer can surround themselves with an ethereal aura of their chosen element for 1 minute, gaining the following benefits:
  • Resistance to damage from spells or effects of the chosen element.
  • Melee attacks deal an additional 1d6 damage of the chosen element.
• Elemental Insight: The bearer has advantage on Arcana checks related to elemental magic and the study of elemental creatures or phenomena.
