This large construct is made from an unfamiliar material. It glows greenish blue when used and seems to be chiseled out of stone, but is very light compared to it. This material is hard to obtain.
A weapon with several small horns on the end, that shoot blue laser beams. These beams do xdx damage, and have an effective range of 750 feet, but after that, it tapers out, and ceases to deal damage. The laser still looks the same, but is a bit wider, and feels hot to the touch. Prolonged exposure will cause sunburns and tans.
This consumes 5 KWs per second when in use. It also vaporizes rocks at a fast rate, around 10 KG per minute.
There is a sticker on the side that says "WARNING: CLASS B MINING LASER. DO NOT POINT AT PERSSONEL OR CIVILIANS." in a strange language decipherable via a DC 21 history check.
This weapon is a heavy weapon, and halves movement speed.
It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
