Wondrous Item, very rare
Very few men are strong or brave enough to attempt to earn the respect of a dragon. Those who do, and succeed, forge a life long bond with their dragon. Hundreds of years ago, amulets were forged to further develop the bond between dragon and rider. These amulets always come in pairs, due to their nature.
When a pair is worn willingly by a dragon and a different sentient creature, it creates a bond between the two. While within 500 feet of each other the two creatures can communicate telepathically with each other. In addition, the two creatures are loyal to each other, the dragon will follow the commands of the creature in combat, and acts on the same initiative count as the creature.
