The Bardblade is a magic weapon that attaches to your arm via a barely noticeable metal framework of exceedingly meticulous craftsmanship. The framework becomes inseparable from you as long as you're attuned to it. To attune to this item, you must hold it against your forearm for the entire attunement period.
As a bonus action, you can retract the armblade into your forearm or extend it from there, you can also use a bonus action to detach the dagger from the framework in order to throw it, but if the dagger is lost, you cannot attach another to the frame.
While it is extended, you can use the weapon as if you were holding it, and you can't use that hand for other purposes.
Additionally, a Bard may use the attached pick modification built into the hilt of the dagger to play any stringed instrument. When using the Bardblade this way, the stringed instrument is both amplified and distorted by the arcane electricity imbued into the framework, giving a +3 on performance checks when made with the stringed instrument.
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Bonus: Performance, Bard, Damage, Combat, Finesse, Light, Thrown, Nick
