These wraps are silky to the touch, feather light and fastened from the hide of an unknown creature lending them a strange, silvery grey cast. This strange hide binds itself around its wearers hands and cannot be removed (except by unattuning from this item) and the wraps never seem to soil, blood and dirt rolling off the hide like water from a seabirds feathers. First having belonged to the great Gladiator Ristel Zaphrinath, known as the Aetherguard, who grew to fame during her time in Voin Kkrabrost, the famous Coliseum in Drekh Adur, the Aetherguards Wrappings have been worn by numerous champions of the pit and powerful adventurers who have saved the world in their own right. Those who wear the wraps gain the title Aetherguard, a title recognized by other warriors and gladiators of the world.
You gain a +2 bonus to AC if you are wearing no armor and using no shield while wearing these wraps.
You gain a +2 to attack and damage rolls made with unarmed strikes while wearing these wraps.
Aetherguards Presence. If you interact with other fighters or warriors and announce yourself as the Aetherguard you gain advantage to any Charisma skill checks you make with those individuals. However doing so opens you to be challenged to one on one combat in order to claim the title of Aetherguard for themselves, and the famed wrappings.
Aetherguards Fervor. While attuned and wearing these wrappings your unarmed strikes do 1d10 force damage on a hit, and your attacks count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance.
Regenerative Charges. These wrapping can hold a maximum number of charges equal to your monk level +1 (up to 10 charges). You gain one charge each time you successfully damage a hostile creature with an unarmed strike (charges reset to zero after a short or long rest). You can expend charges as a bonus action on your turn in the following way: for every 2 charges you expend, you regain 1 ki point and hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier (neither to exceed your respective maximums) as you experience a rush of warmth that surges through your body.
Notes: Bonus: Unarmed Attacks, Bonus: Armor Class, Damage: Unarmed Attacks, Monk
