Armor (plate), rare (requires attunement by a humanoid)

This magical plate armor gives you a +1 bonus to the attuned humanoid's AC. The Armor of Fate's form changes to match the personality, goals, and soul of its wielder. In addition, this armor has a special ability that allows the wearer to alter fate.

When a humanoid attuned to this armor fails a saving throw, ability check, or Attack Roll, they can spend one of the armor's 3 charges to re-roll, potentially causing them to succeed instead. They must use the new roll.

The armor regains 1d3 charges at dawn.

Cursed. When the wearer expends the last charge of the Armor of Fate they become cursed for 3 turns. While they are cursed in this way, they fail every ability check, saving throw, and attack roll they make, regardless of their roll. Remove Curse can end this effect, but it will also end attunement with the Armor of Fate.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
