Amulet of Tracking

This amulet consists of a compass arrow attached to a silver cord.

While wearing this amulet, you can speak the name of a known person and the amulet will float pointing to the direction to that named person and the amulet stands in that way until you say its cancel word. The wearer can speak another name and the amulet will change its direction towards the new creature that was named. You can also a type of creature, and the amulet will change its direction to the nearest creature of the type you named.
