The amulet has 3 charges. While wearing it, you can use an action and expend 1 charge to cast guidance from it. Alternatively, you may spend one minute and expend all three charges to get a brief glimpse into the future, as determined by your DM. If you don't have all three charges then this secondary ability cannot be cast until you have sufficient charges. The amulet regains all expended charges daily at dawn.
