Aegis of Annihilation

The Aegis of Annihilation is a dark, obsidian amulet suspended from a chain of intricate, twisted metalwork. The amulet's surface is covered in faintly glowing, intricate runes that pulse with an ominous energy. When activated, the Aegis projects an invisible sphere with a 120-foot radius centered on the user. Within this sphere, the user has the power to designate individuals as "enemies" by focusing their intent on the specific targets. The amulet reacts to the user's thoughts, discerning who is considered an enemy based on their intentions and emotions.

Effect: Once activated and enemies are designated, the Aegis of Annihilation begins a countdown of three rounds (18 seconds). At the end of the countdown, all individuals within the 120-foot radius who have been designated as enemies are subjected to an intense evaporation effect. Their physical forms are rapidly deconstructed into a swirling mist of shadowy energy, which is then absorbed into the Aegis. The process is swift and inexorable, leaving no remains behind.
