A "pistol" that casts a preset spell. A unique, metallic scroll is implanted into the weapon (known as a cartridge), allowing a non magic user to harness the destructive power with none of the discipline.
Each cartridge may be fired the amount of times equal to the users dexterity modifier before needing reloaded.
The pistol comes with six cartridges, which all recharge after a long rest, or one recharges after a short rest.
Each shot does a 2d6+DEX damage at level 1-2, with an additional d1 added every two levels after 3 (3d6 @ level 5).
A skilled and specially trained artificer could make new one, in time.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Each cartridge may have it's own type of damage from the following list, Acid. Cold. Fire. Force. Lightning. Necrotic. Piercing. Poison. Thunder.
One cartridge may not have multiple modes, and they may only be changed once per long rest.
Proficiency with a Pistol allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
