When you look closely at the Ghost Blade, it seems the edges blur and twitch, even when you know they are perfectly still. While wielding the Ghost Blade, as a bonus action you can use it to cast the blink spell. Once you use this power you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest. Having slain a red dragon to defend an Illithid master the blade now seeks out the weaknesses of these creatures to slay them more effectively. When damage is dealt to a creature with the type Dragon it deals 2D6 additional piercing damage. If the dragon is vulnerable to any type of damage the blade will change the additional piercing damage into that type (you don't have to be aware of the vulnerability)
Proficiency with a Rapier allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
