Adamantine Hydrasque Hide

This chain mail has been adjusted and decorated with the large thick scales of a Tarrasque and reinforced with adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. The armor grants the wearer the same ability of the Tarrasque having a chance to reflect spells back at the caster, however not as reliably as the monstrosity itself. While you're wearing it, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.

Reflective Carapace. Any time the wearer is targeted by a Magic missile spell, a line spell, or a spell that requires a ranged attack roll, roll a d6. on a 5-6 the spell is reflected back at half power on a 1-4 the spell fully effects the wearer.

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
