This amulet, a sacred relic of the Cult of Aegis, carries the essence of the Shield of Aegis's Protection divine protection. Crafted from a polished obsidian pendant adorned with a radiant shield motif, it emanates an aura of steadfast defense against the encroaching shadows.

• Warding Light: While wearing this amulet, you gain the ability to harness the divine energy within it. As a reaction when you or a creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes necrotic damage, you can use your reaction to expend a charge and grant the target resistance against that damage. The amulet has 3 charges, and it regains all expended charges daily at dawn.
• Eyes of Vigilance: The amulet also grants you the ability to perceive the taint of darkness. You have advantage on Perception checks to detect hidden or disguised undead creatures and objects associated with necrotic magic.
• Devotion's Blessing: The amulet's power grows with your devotion to the ideals of Aegis and your commitment to upholding the values of the Cult. If you remain steadfast in these beliefs, you gain an additional benefit. You can use an action to touch the amulet and channel its energy, granting yourself or a willing creature you touch temporary hit points equal to your level. Once this feature is used, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
