Forged by ancient Netheril in a magical experiment to create a blade with the finest edge, Atom Edge is a thin longsword made of an alloy no longer found in this world.
You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Further, the lightness of the sword grants it the Finesse property. If you are proficient with longswords, you are proficient with Atom Edge.
This slender blade has an extraordinarily keen edge. Your attacks with Atom Edge score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. If you already have a feature that has improved your critical hit range in some way, the range is extended one further step.
By slashing the air quickly, you can open holes in reality. The blade has 5 charges. You can spend 2 charges to slash the air as a bonus action and gain the effect of the Misty Step spell. Alternatively, you can spend 4 charges to slash the air as an action and gain the effect of the Dimension Door spell. The sword regains 1d4+1 charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the sword shimmers, vibrates, and slashes itself out of existence to a location determined by the DM.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Weapon Property: Finesse, Versatile, Sap
