An ancient and mysterious sword, born from the depths of the Ancient Forest and bestowed as a gift to Edwin Oakreed to accompany him on his journey towards the light. The hilt of natural wood connects to the rustic stone blade covered in moss through various vines and magical leaves that continuously regenerate.
When in the presence of creatures classified as Fey, Fiend, Undead, and Aberration, the Ancestral Judicator enters its Awakened state. While in this state, it sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. You can control the light as a bonus action, reducing its intensity or extinguishing it completely if desired.
Additionally, while awakened, when hitting creatures of the mentioned types with an attack, the Ancestral Judicator deals an additional 1d8 radiant damage, and the creature must roll all its charisma and wisdom saving throws with disadvantage until the end of your next turn.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
