Armor (plate), rare
Aethral is a nearly weightless, flexible metal. Aethral plate does not impose disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or have a Strength requirement. Moreover, Aethral plate counts as Medium Armor for the sake of allowing creatures with wings to fly, allowing Barbarians to Rage, and similar features that cannot be used while wearing Heavy Armor.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
