Weapon (greataxe), artifact

The Axe of Erebor is a magnificent and ancient Dwarven battle-axe crafted by the skilled hands of the master smiths of Erebor. It is a formidable weapon that resonates with the proud history and indomitable spirit of the Dwarves. This double-bladed, two-handed axe features intricate engravings that depict the Dwarven craftsmanship and their love for precious gems and metals. The axe's handle is made of sturdy oak, wrapped in finely braided leather for a comfortable grip.

History: The Axe of Erebor has a storied past. It was forged during the golden age of Erebor, when the kingdom was at the height of its power and wealth. Crafted by the legendary Dwarven smith, Thráin Ironfist, this weapon was intended to be a symbol of Dwarven pride and a weapon of unparalleled might.

Erebor's halls were filled with songs of its glory, and the Axe of Erebor was often wielded by the mightiest Dwarven champions in defense of their homeland. It was said that the axe could cleave through even the toughest stone and lay low the fiercest foes with a single blow.

When wielded by a Dwarf, the Axe of Erebor grants a +2 bonus to Constitution saving throws, symbolizing the Dwarves' legendary toughness.

The Axe of Erebor can be used to cleave through obstacles made of stone or rock, such as doors, walls, or even cave-ins. When used in this way, it can cut through 10 feet of solid stone per round.

Curse: The Axe of Erebor is a symbol of Dwarven pride and can be irresistible to treasure hunters and those seeking to exploit its power. It is bound by a curse that brings misfortune to any non-Dwarf who tries to wield it. Such individuals will find themselves plagued by bad luck and misadventures until they return the axe to its rightful Dwarven owner or prove themselves as a champion of Dwarfkind.
