The arrow has 7 charges. When the arrow is in your possession, you can expend one charge to have the arrow cast a reduced fly spell on itself. the arrow will now float for 1 minute and has 70 feet of movement. As your action you can control the arrow, it can only move directly forward, but can expend 5ft of movement to rotate itself. if the arrow passes through an enemy square you make an attack roll using proficiency and int. if it passes the arrow deals 1d4 + Int magical piercing damage. for every attack after the first, the momentum of the arrow is lessened, for that the damage decreases for each consecutive attack by one (first attack: no penalty, second attack: -1 damage, third attack: -2 damage, fourth attack: -3 damage, etc...).
if the arrow was crafted using an unbreakable arrow, the 'unbreakableness' of the arrow still exists. if the arrow was made out of a special material, the properties of that material stay with the magic item. although the artificer infusion returning weapon doesn't normally apply to a magic item (this change is up to your dm), it could be applied to this arrow, but the arrow returning to the hand of the user will cost a bonus action rather than be free.
Notes: Ranged Weapon Attack: Piercing, minimum intelligence of 16

Posted Jun 13, 2019Looks good. I like the way you balance it's incredible power with the logic of deprecation through (over)use.
