Armor (splint), rare (requires attunement)

This suit of metal and magic is powered through a mix of coal and storm bottles to assist employees of Galvanic Industries in the many tasks the company asks of them.

You have a +1 bonus to AC and your movement speed increases by 5 feet while wearing this splint armor.

While wearing this armor you can cast the Light cantrip from its central lantern at will.

Once per day, you can overheat the suit as Bonus Action, making it so all creatures within 10 feet of you have to make a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw. On a failure, the creature takes 5d6 fire damage. On a success, they take half as much. This also creates a cloud of smoke and steam around you that makes everything in a 30ft radius of you Heavily Obscured. This smoke and steam goes away at the start of your next turn. This ability recharges at dawn.

This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
