When you use the tantalizing tantalus you you expend one charge and everyone within clear sight of the tantalizing tantalus except for you if you are attuned to the tantalus must succeed on a dc 15 charisma saving throw or become paralyzed via tantalization on the tantalus if you are aware of the looming use of the tantalus you may you your reaction to gain advantage on the saving throw or your action to negate it entirely if something blocks your view of the tantalus you may may reroll the saving throw as your reaction
