You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. This weapon uses a coiled spring instead of a bow, cocking the weapon compresses this spring and rotates a (removable) cylinder that carries 5 bolts. One bolt may be fired for each attack in an attack action. Replacing the cylinder with a fresh one is a bonus action. Wielding the weapon grants a bonus action after every 5 shots. A strength score of 13+ is required to cock the weapon single handed, otherwise a free hand is needed.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
