The Amulet of attunement is a small platinum circular disk with an enchanted sapphire in the centre and arcane runes around the edge. When in use the sapphire turns to an amethyst colour.
When worn the amulet allows the wearer to attune to an extra item, if the amulet is removed from the creature that is using it, the attunement breaks and any benefits are lost until the item can be re-attuned.
Because of the energy that the amulet harnesses, it can drain the energy of the creature if more than one is used at a time. The creature suffers 1 level of exhaustion each minute until the additional amulets are removed. The levels of exhaustion persist after the additional amulets are removed and must be reduced in the normal way or by magical means.
