You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

While you hold the drawn sword, it creates an aura in a 10-foot radius around you. You and all creatures friendly to you in the aura have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Any hostile creature that enters this aura or begins its turn within the aura must succeed a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw or take 2d10 fire damage. Once 150 damage has been dealt this way, the aura fades until the next dawn.

This sword's blade is infused with pure elemental fire. Small but intense flames wreathe the sword when it is drawn. These flames shed bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. The intensity of fire causes it to deal an extra 2d4 fire damage to any target it hits. These flames can only be extinguished by strong magical wind or fully submerging the blade within elemental water. Once the flames go out they won't relight for 24 hours.

This sword has 8 charges. You can use an action to expend 1 or more charges to cast one of the following spells using your spell attack bonus or spell save DC: Branding Smite (1 Charge), Scorching Ray (2 Charges), Wall of Fire (3 Charges), Fire Storm (7 Charges).

The sword regains 1d8+1 charges daily at dawn. If you expend the sword's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1 or 20, the sword unleashes an inferno in a random direction. Roll 1d4 to decide the target and Cast Burning Hands at 8th level at that target.

Inferno Targets:

1. The direction you are facing.
2. Directly behind you.
3. Left or Right, you choose.
4. Yourself.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
