This shield is made from a vibrant copper, shaped to resemble a maple leaf. A faint aura of fae magic can be felt emanating off of the shield.
When wielded, any melee or ranged* attack that misses your AC ricochets off the shield resulting in a loud ringing note echoing through the battlefield. When this occurs you may choose to use your reaction to cast bardic inspiration without expending a slot. This use of bardic inspiration can also be cast upon oneself. These abilities can only be used within the heat of battle.
*The ranged attack must contain the use of a physical projectile or, in the case of magic, must deal force damage (ie. eldritch blast).
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
