While wearing it, treat it as scale armor, but add your dexterity modifier and remove disadvantage. You are also resistant to poison and lightning damage as long as you don't directly ingest either source of damage.
Every long rest, you gain advantage on any intelligence or wisdom checks you make outside of combat up to your INT modifier. In addition, the coat's coloring can be changed at will as a free action.
