This heavy, dull grey plate armor is channeling the power of the winter court, a bain to the fay of the silly court of summer. It enables the wearer to cast armor of Agathys using its own spell slots, or sacrifice its own life, taking 5 points of cold damage to fule the armor in order to generate the temporary hit points and cold damage to the attacker.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: The armor is inscribed by winter fay runes, invisible unless detect magic is used. The armor is attuned by carefully tattooing these runes into the skin of the user in frost silver, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
