Apron of Assisted Carpentry

This vibrant orange apron bears a square emblem within the middle. You are certain it's that of a legendary craftsman's workshop.

Out of combat, you can use the apron's imbued magic to summon a creature known as the 'Builder's Companion'.

The Companion appears in the form of a kobold wearing the apron and a tool belt.
The Companion will set to work, tirelessly constructing a basic shelter suitable for a short or long rest, protecting up to six Medium-sized creatures from the environment it is built in.
Thanks to their ties to celestial forces, the Companion can finish constructing the shelter in 10 minutes, after which they disappear. They are not allowed to accept tips. 
When the Companion leaves, there is a chance that they forget to bring the apron with them, and the character can summon them again. If they forget the apron, there is a chance that they realize this, and the apron burns into flames, destroying it.

The shelter created by the Companion will crumble to the ground after 8 hours, then the debris will magically disappear, leaving no salvageable materials.
