The amulet of darkness is an enchanted necklace of black opal that generates a sphere of darkness with a radius of 15 feet centered on the amulet.
The darkness spreads around corners. A creature with darkvision can't see through this darkness, and nonmagical light can't illuminate it.
Covering the amulet with an opaque object, including actions such as hiding in a pouch, or beneath armor or clothing blocks the darkness.
If any of the amulet's darkness overlaps with an area of light created by a spell of 2nd level or lower, the spell that created the light is dispelled.
