The Awakened Diamond Scimitar has a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.
Created before the awakening of the World Machine, this scimitar is made of pure diamond. I was made especially to hold enchantments. This particular one was made to hold the effects of force.
The Awakened Diamond Scimitar is imbued with the essence of the goddess Falinora, giving it additional benefits.
Attacks with the Awakened Diamond Scimitar do an additional 2d6 radiant damage on top of the 2d8 force damage it already does.
The Awakened Diamond Scimitar is an intelligent weapon, with the following scores: Int 18, Wisdom 20, Charisma 19.
Named Forcas the Foe Slayer, it can speak, read, and understand all languages it's creator knows, in addition to Celestial and Draconic. It can also read the writing in Falinora's Celestial Codex and can communicate with its wielder by telepathy.
It has hearing and darkvision out to 120 feet.
It is neutral good, and its special purpose is to defeat the foes of Falinora (minions of the Destroyer) and to stop the cycle of the coming of the Four Horsemen of Orcus.
When it strikes an undead or a chaotic evil fiend, the target must make a DC 19 Constitution saving throw or be stunned for the next minute.
Forcas itself can cast the following spells (acting as a 17th level ranger: 5/day hunter's mark (it and not the wielder maintains concentration; will target one creature of the wielder's choice), 2/day heal (at Forcas' discretion on the wielder only), and 1/month revivify (at Forcas' discretion on the wielder only).
In addition to these abilities, Forcas will never strike an ally under any circumstances, even if the wielder is charmed/dominated.
Proficiency with a Scimitar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Nick. When you make the extra attack of the Light property, you can make it as part of the Attack action instead of as a Bonus Action. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
