Physical Description:
This armor is an oddly layered affair of mysterious brown/bronze colored metal plates resembling the carapace of a pill bug with emphasis on protecting the spine. The heavy domed helm fully conceals the wearer's face and has decorative nubby metal horns lining the brow ridge. The chest plate has a decorative knight's crest of painted whites, yellows, grey and greens, but featuring a common mouse instead of the usual more intimidating images of a griffon, lion, or dragon.
Magical Properties:
- An attuned wearer of this armor can reduce their size and weight by half for 20 minutes by using 1 of 3 charges the armor has. This effectively reduces the wearer's size category by one for that duration.
The three charges the armor has can be gradually reset in two ways: A long rest will reset one charge. Eating over a pound of cheese during the timeframe of a day (or every 24 block) will also reset one charge.
- This armor's enchantment is activated through a phrase the wearer decides when they become attuned to the armor. Even if the wearer has no idea what the armor does at that point, they will feel compelled to come up with one.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
Notes: It is possible to regain another additional charge by eating over a pound of cheese that day. , wearer donning the armor for an uninterrupted seven hours., Buff, Utility, Combat, Shapechanging, Outerwear, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
