These gloves may have an elegant look to them, but they're not something you'd normaly wear for appearences. These gloves have the abiity to amplify the effects of magical spells in a moderate way. An example of this can be seen with pretidigitation. Simple dazzling sparks can become a mini show of fireworks around the caster. Utility type spells recieve the most visible boost, while combat based spells only recieve a little +1 bump in their potency. At level 20 the spell caster gains a +2 boost on damage rolls.
For every short rest, roll 1d4 to gain expended spell slots. Once the last charge has been expended, roll a d20. On a 10 or less, the item loses its magical properties until three days pass by, or drenched in a potion of mana worth 250gp.
