Astraeth's Luminous Prism is believed to have been created eons ago by Astraeth, an ancient celestial being known as the Keeper of Light. Astraeth's purpose was to preserve the balance between light and darkness in the cosmos. The prism is said to have been forged from a shard of a dying star, imbued with the essence of pure light, and crafted in a place beyond the mortal realms.
Astraeth’s Luminous Prism is a truly exceptional magical artifact, a crystalline masterpiece that radiates an ethereal, ever-shifting spectrum of colours. Its shape is that of a perfect octahedron, with eight identical triangular faces that meet at a central point. Each facet is as clear as the purest diamond, yet when touched, it feels cool to the skin and slightly pliable, as if it contains a shard of the very cosmos.
