Assassins dagger (Known as a Vesporin Dagger)
Description:
The dagger appears to be a simple old home made wooden training dagger, only if you look really carefully will you perceive the fine hairline crack in the middle, otherwise it feels solid and mundane. When unsheathed it reveals an 8inch long stiletto dagger blade made of darked pitted steel with a thin fuller (groove) down the blade. It appears to be razor sharp and is uncomfortable to look at for long. For character with good alignment it will not sit easy in their hand when unsheathed. The sheath is made from multiple layers of different woods with magic woven between to conceal the daggers true intent.
This dagger is a murderers / assassin's weapon and can only be found on the black market, in many places even owning one of these could land you in jail.
Attack:
- Attack: The attacker has advantage on attack rolls, and can bolster their attack roll* before rolling with their own HP (eg: -1HP = +1 attack roll, no upper limit)
- Damage: The dagger does 4d6 damage and the attacker can bolster the damage* before rolling with their own HP (eg: -1HP = +2 damage, no upper limit)
- Fear: Flashing the blade* can cause the 'frightened' effect in someone on a failed Con15 save.
- * Only when attuned
Proficiency with a Dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
