This arrow does an additional 1d4 slashing damage to any other damage it would otherwise deal. Also, when it strikes a target, you may move them 10 feet in any direction you choose. If this would result in them running into a barrier of some kind, they stop at that barrier and take 1d4 bludgeoning damage. The arrow then loses its magical properties.
If you have 4 Arrows of the Elements, this arrow gains +1 to hit, its extra damage becomes 1d6, you move the target 20 feet, and the damage from running into a barrier becomes 1d6.
If you have 8 Arrows of the Elements, this arrow gains +2 to hit, its extra damage becomes 2d6, you move the target 30 feet, and the damage from running into a barrier becomes 2d6.
If you have 12 Arrows of the Elements, this arrow gains +3 to hit, its extra damage becomes 3d6, you move the target 40 feet, and the damage from running into a barrier becomes 3d6.
