MAGICAL BONUS: (Requires Attunement) A Dwarven Adamantine Splint Mail with +2 magical protection. Great acts of Valor must be performed by the wearer in order to gain the magical +2 AC bonus. Once Moradin deems the wearer worthy (DM's discretion), He will grant this attunement.
DEX BONUS: Designed for dwarves' bodies, strengths, and movements, this Adamantine Splint permits Dexterity Bonuses (max 2) similar to Scale Mail but provides AC protection similar to Splint. The Dexterity bonus does not apply to other races. Other races suffer a disadvantage when using two-handed weapons, have a disadvantage on ability checks, saving throws, or attack rolls involving Strength or Dexterity, and they can't cast Somatic spells.
BUCKLER BONUS: One of the forearm/elbow bracers for this Splint Mail is engineered with a permanently fixed buckler, which can be worn on either arm. It takes two months of practice with a Two-Handed Warhammer or Great-Axe to become proficient with the Buckler, or 10 one-on-one melees with the indicated weapons. A standard AC bonus of 1 is granted once proficient. ONLY APPLIES TO melee battles, and ONLY AGAINST the ONE opponent the wearer is currently battling.
ADAMANTINE: This suit of armor is reinforced with Adamantine, one of the hardest substances in existence. While you're wearing it, any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.
This armor is made of narrow vertical strips of metal riveted to a backing of leather that is worn over cloth padding. Flexible chain mail protects the joints.
Notes: Immunity: Critical Hits, Will of Moradin through acts of irrefutable Valor, (DM's discretion). Until attuned, this wearer does not gain the +2 magical AC bonus, but still receives the other bonuses., Combat, Warding, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
