This small clockwork device allows the user to reverse the effect of time. Only one person can be attuned to it at once. By pressing the golden button on top of the device, the clock starts spinning backwards until it reaches the hour of departure one day earlier. One press of the button equals one day of traveling. It takes 24 seconds of felt time to do so. The user can not travel forward. Only them and the device can go on the journey. Any other creature 5 feet next to them when the device is activated take 06 ( 1d12 ) force damage. This can not be prevented in any way. As for the user, they gain one level of exhaustion as well as 12 ( 1d12 ) necrotic damage per use as moisture is forcibly drawn from their being. Any gear they would wear ( including legendary items ) save for artifacts, are disintegrated into fine gray ash and can be remade only by virtue of a wish spell. This can not be prevented either. If the attuned user gains six levels of exhaustion, said user is going to be disintegrated as well. And can be returned to life only by a true ressurection or wish spell. This occurs even if the exhaustion did not come from using the device. The magical clockwork takes into account the shift in space due to a rotating axis. And as such, makes it so that the point of arrival feels identical to the one of departure for the person using it. No matter which plane of existence they currently reside in. As time is being rewritten by their actions, they can not cross paths with any alternate versions of themselves. A creature, who can speak and read Giant, can make a DC 10 Intelligence (Arcana) check. On the back of the watch, ornately wrought in gold is written in the Giant language " Abi-Dalzim’s Time Twister - Conceived in the Star Forge ". The only way to destroy the device is to take it back to where it was created and melt it down in the Forge’s incandescent iron.
