Wondrous Item, common

This arrow does an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage to any other damage it would otherwise deal. Also, when it strikes a target, the target must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. The arrow then loses its magical properties.

If you have 4 Arrows of the Elements, this arrow gains +1 to hit, its extra damage becomes 1d6, the save DC becomes 14, and a sphere of 10 feet around the target becomes difficult terrain for 3 rounds. Ranged attacks have advantage instead of disadvantage on creatures that are prone in this area.

If you have 8 Arrows of the Elements, this arrow gains +2 to hit, its extra damage becomes 2d6, the save DC becomes 16, and all creatures either entering or beginning their turn on the difficult terrain created by this arrow while not prone, or attempting to stand up from being prone must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or fall prone and take 2d6 bludgeoning damage.

If you have 12 Arrows of the Elements, this arrow gains +3 to hit, its extra damage becomes 3d6, both of its save DCs become 18, the damage upon falling prone becomes 3d6, and the area of difficult terrain becomes a 20-foot radius.

Notes: Changed damage effect to knocking prone and buffed prone effect in order not to be too similar to water arrow. Also changed the damage type to fit the new effect., Damage, Combat, evocation
