This item masks the wearers true alignment. You change the way the target appears to spells and other affects that sense a creatures intent or alignment. You can make the target appear good if it is evil or evil if it is good, it can make a hostile creature seem friendly and a friendly creature seem hostile. The amulet effectively masks the intentions of the target in all manner, and you can designate what the target appears to wish appear as in terms of alignment.
