The Amulet of Pestilent Affliction is a foul and unsettling trinket made from dark, tarnished metal. It is adorned with a small, grotesque miniature of a skeletal rider atop a skeletal steed, both of which appear to be rotting away. The amulet emits a faint, putrid odour.
Plaguebearer's Touch: While wearing this amulet, the effects of your poisons and diseases take on an acid, nearly unresistable property. When you would deal poison damage, you may instead change the damage type to Acid. Additionally, each time you hit with a melee attack, your weapon deals an additional 1d4 acid damage.
Resilience of the Plague: You gain resistance to poison damage, and immunity to disease.
Aura of Pestilence: The amulet exudes a 10-foot aura of noxious fumes. Creatures within this aura have disadvantage on saving throws against diseases and poison effects, and you have advantage on saving throws against those same effects.
Curse: The Amulet of Pestilent Affliction is cursed and connects the wearer to the malevolent power of the Horseman of Pestilence. Over time, the amulet can cause the wearer to become obsessed with spreading diseases and bringing decay, potentially driving them to perform unsavoury actions and alienating allies who disapprove of their behaviour.
