Weapon (shortsword), uncommon (requires attunement)

Two handed. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

A kama attached to an iron weight by a chain.  The iron weight is considered an offhand weapon and may be used to make an offhand attack that deals 1D4+1 bludgeoning damage

When taking the attack action, may use your bonus action before the attack to attempt to use the weight to grapple your target. Make an attack roll, on hit, make an opposed athletics (STR) or acrobatics (DEX) check to grapple your target. Target can defend using their choice of athletics or acrobatics. If this grapple is successful, your attack has advantage this turn and this feature cannot be used again until the target breaks the grapple or is defeated.

Tripping Strike.  As an action, you may use a charge to extend the chain and attempt to trip a creature within 15ft. Target needs to make a DC14 dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.  On success you may move to the target and make one attack.

Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
